Ingredients:
- Salt - 1 Tea Spoons
- Sugar - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Turmeric Powder - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Peanut Oil - 3 Table Spoons
- Cauliflower - 4 Cups
- Sesame Seeds - 1 Tea Spoons
- Asafoetida (Hing) - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Cumin Seeds - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Mustard Seeds - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Lemon Juice - 1 Tea Spoons
- Curry powder (Goda Masala) - (1/2) Tea Spoons
- Whole dried red chillies - 2 Items
Preperation Steps:
- Wash the CauliFlower florets thoroughly and cut into about 1 inch pieces.
Main Steps:
- Roast the sesame seeds and cumin seeds together. Grind coarsely.
- Heat the oil and add mustard seeds. Add asafoetida and turmeric after they crackle.
- Break by hand and add whole red chillies. Add the sessame-cumin powder and stir for a minute on medium-low flame.
- Add the CauliFlower florets and mix well.
- Cover for a few minutes without adding water. Mix well and cover again for a few minutes.
- Add salt, sugar, lemon juice and the curry powder. Mix well and cover until cooked.
- Avoid overcooking otherwise the sabzi will become mushy.
