Ingredients:
  • Cardamum - 4 Items
  • Jaggery - (1/4) Kilo Grams
  • Milk - (1/2) Kilo Grams
  • Cashew Nuts - 1 Table Spoons
  • Ghee - 5 Table Spoons
  • Black Raisins - 1 Table Spoons
  • Whole Wheat - (1/4) Kilo Grams
Preperation Steps:
  • None
Main Steps:
  • Soak the wheat overnight.
  • Drain then grind into a coarse paste.
  • Grate the jaggery .
  • Heat the ghee in a heavy-based pan.
  • Add the ground wheat.
  • Cook on a low heat for 15 mins.
  • Add the milk & cook, stirring continuously.
  • If the mixture becomes too dry, add a little water.
  • Add the grated jaggery & stir until it has dissolved.
  • Add the cardamom powder & half the quantity of cashew nuts & raisins.
  • Cook until the mixture is thick & of pouring consistency.
  • Serve hot garnished with cashew nuts & raisins.
