2 cup Daliya (cracked wheat)
1 red onion
4 cloves garlic
1 inch ginger
2 cups spinach leaves
2 tablespoons oil of your choice
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon hing
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon goda masala (or curry powder)
Chop the onion finely. Chop ginger, garlic finely.
Wash the daliya ones and add 4 cups of water in it.
Put it in a MicroWave for about 10 to 12 minutes on high.
Let the daliya rest. It will be partially cooked and almost double in volume.
Heat the oil and add mustard seeds. Let them crackle and add hing, turmeric, cumin seeds.
Add the onion and saute till it become soft.
Add the giner and garlic and saute for another minute.
Roughly chop the spinach leaves and add to the oil. Saute for a minute.
Add daliya and mix well.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Garnish with some spinach leaves and serve hot.
